72 hours in south-west France was apparently enough to give UNISG a run for its money. Thanks to an incredibly enthusiastic Papa & Maman team, we conquered: Toulouse, foie gras, vintage shopping, cloak/beret purchasing, cassoulet, wine, wine and more wine, castle picnics, more foie gras, the three musketeers, foie gras producers, armagnac producers, Trebas, porcini hunting, still more foie gras, Thanksgiving prepping and Thanksgiving feasting. Back in Bra all I have left to say is… vive la France! Vive le foie!

Champagne tasting in the morning, foie gras with ginger/cinnamon/carrot bread for lunch, beer tasting (look how studious we are!) in the afternoon, post class shenanigans (waste not, want not!) and double fisting for the bike ride home… sounds like an okay Wednesday to me. I dare you. Seriously. Today was craft central. Foie-gras cooking lessons led to macaroons au foie-gras! Making my own apple jam! French toast! Sauteed foie gras! Porto mousse! Peppercorn caramel! Foie-gras creme brulee, in an egg! Foie-gras rolls with onion and raisin jelly! I seriously probably ate like 5 geese today.
Also, I made that book cover! From scratch! And binded it!
